Holgate Elementary School is fortunate to have parent volunteers who work to enhance existing programs. PTO meetings are held each month at 6:;30PM in the elementary conference room, meeting times and dates are subject to change.  To keep current, please refer to the the elementary calendar on this website. 

Money raised by the PTO helps cover the cost of the projects and events. A partial list of these events and items include:

Sally Laubenthal taught at Holgate for over 20 years as a Speech/Language Pathologist. She was not only at Holgate, but also at some other schools. Sally lived in Ottawa with her family...her husband, her 2 sons and a daughter. She battled breast cancer for about 4 years. Sally was a very positive person and had a positive effect on everyone she met.
